As a graduate in architecture from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University), my journey has extended beyond the realms of designing buildings and creating spaces. I've evolved into
a creator of "moments," evident in every medium I engage with, including architecture design, photography, graphic design, and illustration.
In architecture, a "moment" transpires when you immerse yourself in a space, observing how the planes come together to evoke specific emotions, whether it's a sense of calm or overwhelming awe. Photography captures a moment in the blink of an eye, preserving it as a visual representation that can be revisited endlessly. In graphic design, the moment occurs when you translate someone's narrative into a visual masterpiece. Lastly, in illustrations, every brushstroke or pencil mark becomes a moment, a unique expression of imagination on canvas, inviting appreciation for each intricacy.
Designing these moments allows me, as an artist, to seamlessly integrate art and emotion.
Architecture
The works showcased on this website encapsulates projects from my undergraduate career, spanning art installations, conceptual designs for residential and industrial spaces, and various design-build initiatives. Through my architectural education I have cultivated a passion for creating designs that contribute to a more sustainable world.
Photography
Photography, my go-to source of inspiration, has played a significant role in my architectural journey. Initially used to capture architectural precedents and essential elements in framed images, it soon evolved into a hobby. I found myself exploring various subjects and delving into the technical aspects of the camera to craft the perfect composition.
ILLUSTRATION and graphic design
I've journeyed from realistic drawings of portraits and buildings to crafting logos and branding artwork through graphic design. My approach involves studying subjects and people's stories, using them as a wellspring for visual expression. Explore this website to find freehand sketches alongside graphic design projects created for clients and personal hobbies.
